Senior Researcher

Rod Fowler has more than two decades of experience with a variety of aboriginal issues.  He has been part of several teams involved in negotiating land claims or reviewing their implementation.  He is very familiar with aboriginal constitutional law, having researched and analyzed many legal decisions in that field and provided advice with respect to the likely precedential value of actions initiated by aboriginal claimants.  He has Bachelor’s degrees in Arts from Acadia University and in Commerce and Law from Dalhousie University and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Carleton University.
